it’s been a notion that if you are working in a call center, you are going to work @ a graveyard shift.Well that was
our life for the past year but not anymore now. Convergys decided to open a shift from 9:00am-6:00pm and this schedule is
available only to the top performing teams, of course our team’s one of them. We are starting our work when it’s 8:00pm ET
in the US, as expected, there will be low call volume since its almost the end of the day for the Americans and all they wanna
do is to relax and watch ppv movies. The funny thing about this shift is that people are calling just to order adult ppv movies
and then they’ll look for a manager if they aren’t eligible for not paying bills. Americans are the craziest people on earth…they
are impossible people…and are the most stupid people on earth. Maybe some of them are good but80% of Americans are idiots…hahaha
revenge is sweet.hahahahahahahah.

enewies, since our shift changed i am very much enjoying my job now. i am being paid to use my yahoo messenger chatting with my pals,
reading blogs, surfing friendster, you tube and any site that will kill my time, seating in front of the computer and watching movie feeds from
directv. At least not bad, not too stressed and being paid. i’m just happy…. making the most out of it.

October 8— rain’s 26th birthday and 1st wedding anniversary of ate lala and pen. We decided to celebrate this special day with a family outing at splash mountain laguna….T’WAS ONE EVENT TO REMEMBER!

It was last Sept.1 when tito ned and tita luding celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone from our clan was invited and of course all of us prepared for this once in a lifetime event(i had to call lorraine to ask what will be her attire…so that i can buy myself a fancy dress :). After the death of my lola(oct.8,1996) we never had a chance to get together except of course during new years but only with my cousins from mindoro. I came from a very big family(and this is only on my father’s side,my dimayacyac family is still growing) and if i am not mistaken my lolo and lola have 48 grandchildren from their 9 offsprings. i didn’t bother to ask my lola when she was still living how they ever managed to handle 9 children considering their reponsibilities as mayor(my lolo) and vice mayor(my lola) of Sablayan. All i know is am very proud of them because all their children are successfull in life but the success of their children were overtaken by the achievements of the granchildren…heheheh.

preparations

The start of my day was really a disaster because i had to wake up and prepare food for yuan and bong who had a photoshoot that day. Tatay called me to ask if we can give nanay lucy and ate shiela a ride going to the wedding, so it was set–meeting would be at 4.30.When i finished cooking bong’s favorite tapa, he decided not to eat because he would be late for the 10:00 call time.We agreed that he would be back lunch time and i would buy yuan’s dress while he’s on photo shoot, but after bong left, dysmenorrhea attacked me.I sent an sms informing him about the condition but no reply. To cut the story short he came home very late and we were rushing to department store to buy yuan’s clothes. I felt irritated by the situation, everyone  from project 6 was texting me because we were late already, i couldn’t hold my emotions because of what happened and how things went when we were about to meet my family at mcdo quezon avenue….bong’s fault,not mine.

At heritage

We were late!!! when we arrived, the groom and the bride had marched already. I was surprised when i saw aries banaga(my co-professor from Fatima University) in front of the ceremony.I also saw my prof in my MA Judge Barrientos. But what excited me the most was  when i saw tita chit and ate ana coming next to us. I kissed them and introduced myself, when i entered the room, everybody was smiling and i knew that everyone couldn’t wait to bond with each other. I saw kuya butch after 22 years, there was kuya sonny who was my idol when he was still in the navy, ate chiel, ate ana and kuya junjun. Ojoj, ate am,were among those whom i often see and hang out in Mindoro. Of course the ever unique and beautiful nengky was there. arjay arrived with his gf and they were late too,tito ned’s girls ate laila, ate lor and ate levi looked good on their gowns..the celebration made my family meet again.

Memories

The event was truly once in a lifetime, we missed our cousins so bad that when someone saw two people posing for picture everyone would run and pose to be included. I was lucky that bong took the place of being our photographer that day, so i was included in every shots After the wedding, a reunion was planned but the date was not yet set. i know that all of us want to stop the clock from running that time so that we could make up for the long years that we have not seen each other.i know that with the same blood running through our veins, this event will be remembered forever…our pictures will fade but the memories in our hearts will remain.

originally we’re 24, afterr cct we’ve been trimmed down to 15 for pst, then to 11….but we are still alive and continuing for being slaves by our schedules, adherence, doris, rio and avaya.For 7 months now, all of us share laughs, ideas, lunch, breaks and of course problems.A month ago, my hubby bong joined our team and that made my stay in 81m05 even meaningful. after being togetehr for quite sometime i can say that we know each other quiet well now. And i’ll always be thankful that i do belong in this team  .although this is not my line of work, still i plan to stay….

it happened few weeks ago, after like hundred times of planning to go out and meet, finally it happened…..nsyarks corny..hhehehe.

It was one of syalam’s gig when i invited helen  and edelyn to watch the band play at mag:net cafe in katipunan. meeting time is 7 and of course as usual len was on time and i was late. When i arrived they were already finished with the appetizer and len’s already complaining about everything in the whole wide universe(?).of course after me justifying my being late, they understood.

For hours we were talking about same stuff, same stories when we were young and the struggles that we are facing in the metropolitan. There’s a lot to unfold in such a short time, although they weren’t able to watch syalam play, i enjoyed being wih them again. I missed the bondings that our batch had before, everybody’s gone overseas,and now while im writing this, the great "ernel" just ym me..and aldreen is txting from Texas…talking about co incidence here.whatever!!!

i have learned a lot from bong, we are working for a better relationship now. Being together everyday and making mistakes very so often were two of the things which taught me how to live life. It’s not a fairy tale, nobody always gets what he/she wants. I was spoiled by bong for more than 10 months…i thought its normal and right but i didn’t realize that nothing lasts forever, that patience has limits….i was hurt, prayed so hard, recollect and realized everything that i have done. Now I thank BONG so much for teaching me a lesson, for giving me new life and for bringing out a whole new different me. Now my life will change for good, i hope this is for the better. Thank you so much bong, i am very happy with you now.
